interactive connections between humans and technology
Extensive interview with Joachim Rotteveel who is a pioneer in using augmented reality technique in his commissioned work for i.e. the Dutch museum Boijmans van Beuningen and in his work as an autonomous artist. He fuses physical reality and technological tools to reflect on contemporary culture. “The widespread and accepted use of computer mediated life has warped the human everyday experience of life. Compare the common understanding of human anatomy through MRI scans with the view of Leonrado da Vinci!” Rotteveel uses developments in natural science and skilful technology to build interactive installations.
